WebFeb 22, 2024 · It isn't canned laughter. It is the live audiences laughter. I agree there is a live audience but they edit in canned laughter to boost some of the laughs. ELR (one of my favorite shows) did this masterfully but TBBT hacks it in there. If you listen to the show in the next room out of site of the TV, you realise how ridiculous it sounds.
