WebNov 8, 2024 · currently cold mastery applies the exact 1/5 value of lower resist or aura when attempting to break the immunes, so higher than 120 will not work. No one knows for sure if its a bug, or it was a bug in OG D2 and they fixed it, the devs will surely explain this when they fix the stability issues. WebNov 5, 2024 · Blizzard needs quite a lot of points to be viable, as does Meteor/Fireball and Lightning, hence it’s not used so much for dual element setup. With Frozen Orb however, you can get by with just investing 20 points in that skill and 8-15 (depending on preference) in cold mastery, leaving lots of points to invest in another element.
