WebJan 30, 2024 · I suppose it is possible to adjust the parameters in the ecm to get it to output the correct frequency for the toyota tach ,but since i already had the DD box installed I just went with it. The numbers for 6 and 8 cylinder tachs are 19.33 and 14.5, so there is no way to evenly split them in whole numbers. WebDec 20, 2014 · In all of the e67 's that we have used J1-25 is the tach output. If you just add a pin next to it (j1-24 ) connect the two and connect to your tach all is good. there is a built in pullup resistor in the ecu connected to that pin. Engine is a stock GMPP LS3 longblock, I'm using a 05-13 corvette accelerator pedal. Tach output settings are Crank, RH 15, RL 15. I verified the tach is connected to pin 48.

It reads double the actual RPM. I was originally running an E38 GM ECU. It's output is not a "V8" signal, thanks to GM's engineers.
